2013 Pittsburgh Paws for the Cure

Join us at our 5th annual Paws for the Cure® dog walk featuring a one-mile walk through the scenic Hartwood Acres. We will have lots of things to see and do for our guests of all ages, even if you don't have a dog! All proceeds benefit Komen Pittsburgh.

(Shirts only available for pick-up the day of the event. Shirts to the first 1,000 registered participants. We will do our best to accommodate sizes but cannot guarantee all requests.)

All participants who raise $500 or more in pledges/donations will be entered into a drawing to win one $250 Giant Eagle gift card. All donations must be received by November 1, 2013 to qualify. Schedule of Events
9:00 a.m. - Registration, T-shirt Pick-Up & Sponsor and Vendor Tents Open
10:00 a.m. - Welcome Ceremony
10:30 a.m. - Dog Contests
11:00 a.m. - Walk Starts & Raffle
11:45 a.m. - Closing Ceremony & Raffle Winner Announcement
Enjoy vendor and sponsor tents, agility demonstrations, doggy contests in the contest area and entertainment for the whole family beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Entry Fee
$25 Adult participant (age 18 or older)
$15 Youth participant (age 14 or younger)

Deadlines
Online registration deadline noon, October 2, 2013
Mail-in form must be postmarked by September 26, 2013
Must be registered by September 15th for guaranteed shirt size

$5 per contest or $10 for three

♦ Best Steelers’ Gear
♦ Best Dog Trick
(Tickets will be available in the registration tent.)
Visit our Agility Area to try your dog's paws at an agility course. Every dog's a winner!

Rules for Participation
♦ Handler must be 18 years or older.
♦ Leashes required. No Flexi-leads or leashes longer than six feet.
♦ No dogs in heat.
♦ Dogs must have a current license and vaccinations.
♦ Dogs must wear an ID tag.
♦ Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership and clean up after their dogs. Clean-up bags will be provided.
♦ No skateboards, bicycles or in-line skates permitted.
♦ No pullcarts or pet carriages.
♦ All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian at all times.

This event will occur rain or shine.
We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds. Your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate.
